Osman Shaw Jr. is the managing director of No Noise Venture Management LLC and is Head of Culture & Strategy and IBusiness Development and Investment.
Better known as Ousman Sahko, Ousman is a General Partner at No Noise Venture Capital and a cultural curator and advisor within the creative economy. His career spans across media and entertainment, where he has carved out a successful path as a Commercial Film Director. Ousman's entrepreneurial spirit led him to start a multicultural creative agency, which he exited in 2016. His vision was further recognized by Google, where he worked on building around Google’s products and services ecosystem.
Born in Sierra Leone and educated at Art Institute, Ousman's diverse background and deep expertise in media make him a valuable asset to No Noise VC. His experiences as a founder, an agency leader, and a venture capitalist enable him to provide unique insights and guidance to the startups he works with. His passion for storytelling and culture curation continues to drive his work as he seeks to empower creatives and foster innovation within the creative economy.
Ousman co-founded Blacktag, a marketplace for creator-led products and services, which successfully raised multiple rounds of capital from NEA and CAA, among others. After three years of building Blacktag, Ousman is currently exiting the business to one of the largest media conglomerates in advertising.
Throughout his career, Ousman has demonstrated a commitment to supporting creatives and fostering diversity within the creative economy. His work has been recognized by leading industry platforms, including Harper's Bazaar, 21st Century Leaders, and Modern Post.
